Plan your own well-being

This is possible, first it is better to establish a fundamental concept; if we don't have a culture of well-being, do we know what to look for in this structure?

Unfortunately, the care of one's body here is last in most cases after fashion, emulation, aesthetics and beauty.
In the so-called mature markets such as the Anglo-Saxon, North American and Eastern ones, the culture of well-being is inherent in lifestyle habits and this involves life methods that put the interest in taking care of one's body and its well-being in the first places.

“ONLY WHEN TIME IS SPENT DOING NOTHING, THE MIND BECOMES FREE TO WALK AND DISCOVER YOUR INNER SPACES.”

Alba Camere Chiomonte is an effective remedy to combat the stress of a hectic life, and at the same time, an opportunity to meet again, to resume an intimate conversation with oneself.

During the summer, guests can take advantage of the colorful garden with flowers and pamper themselves in the heated outdoor whirlpool tub, all of this with a solarium area and background music. Our sitting inside the large pond will allow you to read a book, converse, listen to the relaxing sound of the water during the day and appreciate the freshness of the temperature in the evening.

For the winter period we provide dedicated accommodations with indoor whirlpool tubs. Even with bad weather it will be possible to carve out a happy moment away from the usual rhythms.

Chiomonte and its history

Chiomonte (Cimon in Piedmontese, Cháumount in Occitan and Chaumont in French) is an Italian town of 952 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Turin in Piedmont. It is located in the Susa Valley. 750 m above sea level. The town, the last of the Occitan area, was for a long time a borderland between Dauphiné and Piedmont, of which it returned to be part in 1713, after almost 500 years of French rule.

Its history is written in the secret courtyards, in the tunnels that run under the historic centre, in the medieval porticoes, in the wall frescoes, in the mills, in the sixteenth-century fountains and in its hidden symbols: a wooden demon and a stone face which, for hundreds years old, they watch over passers-by discreetly and often unnoticed. In Chiomonte there are some of the highest vineyards in Piedmont, a vine with millenary origins is cultivated, the Avanà, and the Vino del Ghiaccio is produced, which is so called precisely because it is harvested in January.

In the past, there were seven fountains in the village, all dating back to the sixteenth century, and they were used for the needs of all the districts of the municipality. The abundance of water in the municipality is linked to the figure of Colombano Romean, a historical figure who in the early 1500s dug an opening in the mountain by himself to bring water from the Vallone di Tullie to the hamlets of Ramats and Cels in the municipality of Exilles, because they had no water and the land was barren.
